Description
Yesterday, something quite special happened in Manchester. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, paid a royal visit to Manchester's Museum Of Science and Industry and Granada TV studios. And after a visit to a military establishment (I believe) elsewhere in the north west, they took the train (Royal Train of course) to the MOSI direct.
And this time around, it wasn't a 67 providing the main motive power, but the UKs newest steam locomotive, LNER Peppercorn Class A1 number 60163 "Tornado", which pulled the princes train previously when she was named by the prince. Here she is seen in no great a hurry passing under Oldfield Road bridge in Ordsall, less than a 1/4 mile from her destination.

Here we have, well, a rare, amazing, super, brilliant, why was I at College? Kinda Picture, this the Queens train pulled by the get Tornado. Its a amazing shot and CJ Sutcliffe has made himself we in the right area at the right time. The angle of the image is really cool, it just seems liking its coming out of the image at you, its purely amazing. Also the amount of steam is great showing some good movement as well. Though a slightly bit dark due to not so brilliant day. Its a brilliant job at a new location of a train that may never run again, congrats!
